W E Edwards died from morphine poisoning likely a suicide after discussing his business with his wife. A 60 grain bottle with about 20 grains missing was found by the bed room window. He was about fifty, left a wife and three children, and had come from Tallahassee Florida to work in turpentine. Burial occurred Sunday in the city cemetery.
