Looking Upon the Earth In Borrowed Grace
A fragment from Kathleen Patridge in London Graphic and Daily Sketch discusses bearing responsibility for beauty and decor, borrowing grace from the world, and the duty to improve what one inherits instead of abandoning it. It is followed by a morning prayer attributed to Robert Louis Stevenson asking for steadfastness, cheerfulness, industry, and restful sleep.
