27 Children With Defects At Cottonwood School Clinic
Twenty seven children were examined at the pre school clinic sponsored by the P T A at Cottonwood school. Dr F G Granger county health officer led the examinations. Defects noted include eyes 2 tonsils 6 teeth 17 breathing 4 hearing 3 and 26 vaccinated for small pox with 14 needing diphtheria inoculations.

Man Fined for Not Returning Rented Auto in Circuit Court
John Will Pelham was fined 10 dollars by Judge H A Pearce after a circuit court verdict for failing to return an automobile rented from an A Drive It agency. In the same session Shelby Mooring, charged with assault and battery with a weapon at a ball game fight in Columbia, was fined 100 dollars. Berry Pitts was found guilty of stealing a shotgun from Norman Spann’s farm but awaiting sentencing.
