Kilgore Texas April 10 AP Operations were suspended today at 34 East Texas oil refineries as injunctions were issued to enforce the new refinery control law in the Texas Railroad Commission campaign against hot oil. R D Parker said the number had shut down but would not be listed. Construction halted at five plants. Refineries closed voluntarily after injunctions were issued to force compliance.

Man Suspect in Auto Theft Nabbed at Elba
April 10 two Montgomery County deputies brought C. O. Adaware back to Montgomery to face automobile theft charges. Adaware was arrested yesterday by Chief J. W. Detroit April 10 AP A major wage dispute eased when 22 490 workers at Motor Products Corp accepted a 10 percent raise and returned to work, but a potential tool and die workers strike threatens further disruption. The Mechanics Educational Society of America may call a strike on Thursday unless wage and hour demands are met, with as many as 18 000 employees possibly affected across the auto industry.
