Spokane April 8 AP A 37 year old secretary Miss Lesle Jourdan of the Spokane County Woman's Christian Temperance Union confessed to writing numerous letters to officers and herself claiming fictitious gambling and liquor law violations. She said a federal grand jury indictments of James Rainey and son Arthur resulted from letters she authored. The Raines faced no charges as postal authorities doubted their guilt. Jourdan was held on 500 bond to await the next federal grand jury session.
