PATE EMPLOYE KILLED IN CAR TRAIN COLLISION

AP report says Ben Carter Adams aged 70 an employee of the State Department of Revenue was killed last night when the automobile he was driving collided with a streetcar in Birmingham. The crash occurred on 6th Street as the car struck the streetcar. Authorities investigated the fatal incident.

Organization Formed to Seek Missing War Personnel

NEW YORK UP Some New Yorkers formed Kin Seeking Missing Military Personnel Inc to press for a government agency to locate missing servicemen worldwide. Thomas F. Four Die In C 47 Crash Southwest Of Decaturville

Four persons were killed when an Army C 47 transport crashed in a rain storm southwest of Decaturville Tennessee. Victims include an Army colonel an Army Medical Corps captain and two civilians. The plane struck a tree covered hill during an apparent emergency landing attempt.
