Dothan High School Tigers defeated Enterprise 7 to 1 as Reynold May pitched effectively, limiting six hits and striking out seven while homering once and adding a single. Fred Holmes contributed a triple and solid defense at first. Enterprise standout Martin led with a triple and single and robbed Dothan in center field.

OSSINING N Y April 5 a Sing Sing inmate attempted escape during recreation. Alphonse Tartello 24 after scaling walls jumped the river bank was shot by guard Ernest Bullard as he fled toward the Hudson. His body was recovered minutes later with a neck bullet wound.

Cummins and Cannady Elected As Delegates To State Medical Meet

Dr. Mo Gomimin of Ashford and Dr. N. B. Cannady were chosen to represent the Houston County Medical Society at the state convention in Montgomery on April 14 1 with Dr. Russell E. Neff and Dr. H W Burderhaw as alternates. The crippled chin clinic will be held at Davis hospital this year and at Frazier-Ellie hospital next year then at St Mount hospital following year.
