One killed as car drops from bridge planks break

Pneumonia claimed its second victim in Dothan within three days with the death of Homer Powell, 28, of East Lafayette Street. Powell’s father, Will Mam Powell, died of the same illness near Sunday afternoon. a second son is reported critically ill with pneumonia. Homer Powell is survived by his widow, his mother Mrs. Mary M. Powell, six brothers James, Claude, Malcolm, Archie, Grear and Houston, all of Dothan. Master, Mrs. H. J. Donaldson of Samson.
