Rigney seeks re election in 1990 GOP primary for 35th District

Dixon robbery suspect to be arraigned today

James Wilson 25 of Skokie will be arraigned in Chicago federal court on charges tied to robberies in Ottawa and Streator. He allegedly obtained 6441 from Ottawa First Bank and 5499 from Streator bank, with the Dixon heist around 14000. Numbered cases and divisions were noted by federal officials.

Rock Falls Wins 300000 Grant for Water System Upgrade

The Department of Commerce and Community Affairs awarded Rock Falls 300000 dollars to fund a new water tower a new well and a filtration system as part of a 12 million project plans call for construction to begin in May with completion around October Mayor James Arduini noted the city initially sought 400000 and that the grant will also help repair the existing tower.
