Lawmakers Seek Clearer Labels On Fat Content
UPI reports Rep. Dan Glickman and Sen. Tom Harkin propose a bill to require labeling of fat and saturated fat in foods, and to disclose vegetable oil types. They cite misleading "no cholesterol" claims and show how palm and coconut oils raise saturated fat.

Manson Transferred to Corcoran Prison in California
Convicted mass murderer Charles Manson was moved Wednesday from San Quentin to the new state prison near Corcoran in Kings County. Spokeswoman Evelyn Mazon said he will be in his own cell and not mixed with general inmates due to notoriety.
