Rochelle man dies in motorcycle crash in 1989
Michael James Koebler, 25, of Rochelle, Illinois, died July 6 1989 at St Anthony Medical Center Rockford from injuries in a motorcycle crash. He worked for Midwest Refinishing and was born July 31 1963. Surviving relatives listed include parents Maurice J and Carolyn A Koebler and multiple siblings. Funeral services set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Lyons Cluts Simes Funeral Home with burial at St Patrick Cemetery. Visitation 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials to Village of Progress. In Hermitage Tennessee Shawn Alan Snedaker 23 formerly of Dix On died July 6 1989 from injuries in a single car crash in Nashville arrangements by Preston Schilling Funeral Home Dixon.

Accidents Report From Dixon Area Injuries Mild
Two women suffered minor injuries in a Dixon intersection crash at 2 40 p m. Lyle C Kelchner 30 failed to yield at Chestnut and Spruce, hit William K Shank 28. Kelchner cited. Regina Kelchner and Sue Berogan treated but not hospitalized. Other incident in Dix on High School lot involved Scott DeWall backing into a parked vehicle. no tickets. An Oregon man was treated in Rockford after being struck by an unknown vehicle on Route 2. Blumenthal rode to Byron Police, then hospital. No citations issued. Happy birthday list for several local residents.

Lenox Lyons 64 year old Lonzo Rosenbaum suffered minor injuries Thursday when his riding lawn mower tipped on a slope at 628 Wood St in Rochelle. He was treated at Rochelle Community Hospital and released.
