Libya Returns Remains of Air Force Captain

The remains of Captain Paul F. Lorenceo, shot down during the 1986 Libya bombing, were handed over in Tripoli to Vatican envoy Archbishop Monterisi and then to U.S. authorities in Rome. The coffin was transported to Ciampino airport and routed to Rome University for identification by American doctors before flight to the United States. Lorenceo, 31, was aboard an F-111 in the raid on Tripoli and Benghazi, part of U.S. retaliation for the West Berlin disco bombing.

Quake survivors recount 35 days in Leninakan cellar
