Demolition Set for Buildings at Second Street Galena Ave
Illinois Department of Transportation officials announced that Prescott Construction will start tearing down three buildings at the northeast corner of Second Street and Galena Avenue next Wednesday as part of an intersection widening project. The 100 block of East Second Street will be closed January 17 through 19 to westbound traffic. Boston AP reports scientists say men can drink more due to higher stomach enzyme levels that break down alcohol before it enters the bloodstream.
