Kaltenbach 82 dies. longtime Ashton sheet metal firm owner
Louis Kaltenbach, 82, of Ashton, died January 4, 1990 at home. He operated a sheet metal firm in Ashton and served over 30 years as a volunteer fireman. Born June 20, 1907 in River Forest, he married Luella Walters in 1936. Survived by wife, son John, daughters Bonnie Nichols and Karen Martin, sisters Ruth Hanson and Jane Henek, four grandchildren. Funeral at Lyons Clubs-Simes Funeral Home with burial in Ashton Cemetery. Memorials to Ashton Rescue Squad Fund. Visitation Friday 7 to 9 p.m.
