Diesel spill at Del Monte plant in Rochelle
A truck spill near Del Monte Corp plant 109 in Rochelle released an estimated 40 to 50 gallons of diesel. No injuries or evacuations occurred as Emmanuul M. Penesis drove over ice, rupturing a fuel line. Firefighters and Del Monte staff contained the leak, applying emulsifier while EPA assess environmental impact.
