Freedom Statue to be Homeless in Dixon

Faith Christian School names Jim German new principal

Jim German of Dixon has been hired as principal of Faith Christian School in Grand Detour beginning in June. He succeeds John Novak, who left in December, and brings 20 years in Dixon Public Schools plus prior posts as Dixon High School principal and Jefferson School principal. German, 55, will start after the Dixon school year ends and plans to use his teaching strengths while viewing this as a new career phase with a Christian mission.
