In Rockford Illinois Roland Cruz was convicted on all counts including murder rape deviate sexual assault and kidnapping for the 1983 abduction and slaying of 10 year old Jeanine Nicarico. The jury awarded death penalty consideration and evidence will be heard on sentencing.
