Firefighters fought a roof fire at the Stephen and Liz Albrecht residence two miles west of Harmon on Monday afternoon, keeping crews from Harmon Amboy and Rock Falls on scene in freezing conditions until about 10 30 p m. The blaze damaged the roof and garage but was contained to those areas amid harsh temperatures.
