Leaf River officials mailed a six point annexation plan to Byron asking the district to respond by January 17 and aim for annexation by July. The plan proposes keeping Leaf River attendance centers and having Leaf River board members advise Byron during the transition while noting Byron’s enrollment limits. Byron Superintendent Bill Young has not yet received the plan and Byron board meets January 9 with potential action after reviewing it.
