Christmas Walk draws over 1,000 in Dixon downtown
More than 1,000 people flocked to Dixon Friday night for the Christmas Walk hosted by the Dixon Commercial Progress Association. Madison Junior High and Dixon High Madrigal Singers performed as luminaries lined the streets and Santa greeted shoppers. Church groups staged a live nativity at nearby Lot 81. Organizers expect the event to return next year with earlier planning and more stores staying open to 9 p.m.
