J M Mackenzie and wife returned Wednesday from a lengthy motor trip to San Diego and praised Ukiah as the best place. A son born to Mr and Mrs Clarence Dightman of Philo in Ukiah last Saturday September 4. Donald Schneider, former Albion resident, died here aged 76. funeral this afternoon. Catherine Caroline Thompson of Hopland died Wednesday aged 80. remains to Windsor. Dr Eph Weiss refracting optician of San Francisco will be in Ukiah October 9 at Hotel Cecilie, 706 Larkin Street San Francisco. Joe Saunders from San Luis Obispo visits his mother and brothers in Ukiah. C Bennett and E C Green of Covelo were in town this week. Mrs Harry Mulson of Fort Bragg passed through en route to the coast.

In a Santa Rosa action, Flavien Berton’s estate accounts are challenged by Antone J. Perelli-Minetti the administrator.
