Potter Valley notes recount visitors and residents in Ukiah and San Francisco, church events, Epworth League meetings, and Grange and progress club activities. Notable items include Mrs. Adams leaving Potter for Calistoga, Dr. Stout treating Mrs. Laura Lierry, a joy at the Griffits family’s new son, and a theater skit by the Grange.
March 155 Fort Bragg. Lawrence Rosa of Inglenook treated at Fort Bragg hospital for a compound fracture of the right leg below the knee after an injury at Ten Mite. A new resaw at Glen Blair to boost daily lumber output to about 25 000 feet, ready in a week under C K E Sherrick. Andrew Ostrom, longtime Camp 11 woodsman, died of flu and buried at Culpex's Cove. Grade between Juan and Hardy Creeks cleared and open to travel. Fort Bragg steamer sailed to Guaymas, Mexico with redwood ties planks and timbers.
The Chamber of Commerce states it is non political and non sectarian and has not endorsed any candidates for the April trustees election. It urges voters to rely on candidates’ records and minutes rather than rumors, extending best wishes to all candidates without backing any. Brice W. Hoskins, manager secretary.

Pioneer Fruit Co. agent Richard B. Hall offered Zinfandel growers in Cloverdale 75 dollars per ton for their crop this March. Vines are only in bud and growers hesitate to contract amid uncertain season prospects, fearing small crops or frost could push prices higher. Miss Frances Thompson returns home from a long visit in the southern part of the state.

R. H. Hart of the Hotel Cecille buffet has been ill with the flu during the past week.
Victor Helgas has purchased an interest in the Russian Gulch wharf and the steamer Mae Hyman. He will manage the Gulch end of the business and reside there. The Mae Hyman carried a cargo to coast points from the Gulch to Fort Bragg, with plans for two weekly trips and outbound fir log shipments to Oakland for berry box manufacturing.

R. J. Presleigh was convalescent this week after an attack of flu, returning to routine activities soon. The brief illness disrupted his schedule, but he is regaining strength and expects to resume duties shortly.
Sealed bids will be received by the Mendocino County Clerk of the Board at the Ukiah courthouse until 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 11 1922 for construction of Section Two East End Nash and Highway Road. Bidders must include a 10 percent certified check and bond with sureties for performance and payment, and insurance for workers. Plans are on file with the board.
