Superintendent Roy Good addressed the Saturday Afternoon Club urging education for music art and physical education in Ukiah schools and noting plans to raise teacher standards via renewal of certificates. A Friday evening whist tournament at I C O F hall is organized by the Saturday Afternoon Club as a fundraiser for the clubhouse. Mrs F E Rea chairs a large committee. prizes, refreshments and social features promised. The club collaborates with the American Legion to finance and share a clubhouse plan.
