On Monday Prof Sullivan received from C G Conn a set of triple plated silver band instruments ordered days before. Dillon citizens subscribed about 450 to purchase them. The instruments are a different model from ordinary band equipment and are neatly engraved. They are praised as first class in every respect and will allow the Dillon band to perform unusually fine music.

United States Land Office in Helena announces a hearing to cancel homestead entry No. 5104 filed July 20, 1891, by O W Eckstrom for lands in Beaverhead county. James B. A blame lodges the complaint. Eckstrom and witnesses must appear November 2, 1897, at 10 a.m. before notary W S Barbour in Dillon, Montana, with testimony taken October 29, 18h7.
