Racing fair organized for BeaVerhead County
Citizens met Monday to discuss forming a fair and racing association. Attendance at Friday and Saturday races was fair, rain dampened Sunday crowds, track_LAYOUT slow with no official times. Winners: Friday Comet in two races and Gladstone in the mile. Saturday Gladstone and Phil Thorpe's Trix placed in events. Sunday Gladstone won two races, Weazle second, Kent’s Gladstone won 30 yard dash. Notes mention Ernest Pittoff purchased privileges and judges’ decisions well received.

A recent race meeting yielded gate and entrance funds to be shared among winners. Town leaders anticipate forming a racing association to boost trade and draw up to fifteen hundred visitors, generating significant merchant revenue and serving as a lasting town monument. September term of district court lists civil cases before Judge Galbraith
