Fatal shootout near Dubois shocks Idaho Falls
In Dubois on the Medicine Lodge home ranch of James Denning two Clark and Denning Sheep Co. men, Bogus and Crowns, died after a dawn duel. Crowns shot Bogus through the chest and Bogus fatally wounded Crowns before dying later at Idaho Falls. Family troubles and long simmering disputes are suspected factors in the tragedy.

A switch engine collided with a Western Wholesale Grocery delivery truck at Bannack street crossing noon today. George Patrick narrowly escaped, Miss Frankie Andrus clung to the engine pilot and escaped with a bruised arm, while Frank Shoemaker suffered a badly torn leg and is hospitalized.
