Clarence Vance, a Lima ranch hand born 1902, was found dead near Price creek ten miles east of Monida after his saddle horse threw him. A full CCC company from Many Glaciers camp in Glacier National Park will be stationed at Birch Creek CCC camp by the 20th. Sergeant L A Waltz leads the first contingent as they clean up and prepare machinery. A second group arrived last Saturday and the final contingent comes on the 20th. Absarokee camp units move to a Whitehall grazing camp under Paul Crouter, who supervised transferring Birch Creek machinery.

Record Snow Fall Is Omen Of Wet Winter
