Stapleton and Camp Address Dillon Voters at Opera House

Messrs. Stapleton and Camp of Butte spoke to a packed Dillon audience on Anaconda's claim to the capital. Stapleton challenged claims of Anaconda influence and cited Montana land holdings and a 1874 vote buying case. Camp kept listeners laughing as the crowd remained favorable to Anaconda though some Helena supporters faced indifference. An advertisement for Dr. King's New Discovery and other remedies closes the piece.
