The Clifton Applegate and Toole firm completed paving of 19 blocks in Dillon’s first improvement district four days early. Montana and Idaho streets from Reeder to Helena and Reeder to Virginia were paved, with cross streets, part of a broader lighting project. Completion will open after three weeks as pavement cures. Navy Veteran Will Williamson Visits Dillon Before San Francisco Discharge
Will Williamson arrived in Dillon last Saturday to spend a few days with his parents before traveling to San Francisco for his Navy discharge. He enlisted two and a half years ago soon after the war began, serving on transport and interior duties in France, and seeing action in Flanders with the big 14 inch Naval guns. His detachment was attached at times to the Marine brigade of the second division.

Mrs Mary Fyhrie Buried In Dillon Funeral
Mrs Fyhrie formerly of Dillon and wife of L C Fyhrie died in Spokane last Monday. She was past sixty and noted for leadership in community work and charity. Funeral services were held at the home of A S Rife with Christian Science rites and interment in Mountain View cemetery. Two sons Anglo Barrett of Spokane and Bert Fyhrie of Butte survive.

Bonning Trial Set For November 11
W. T. Bonning,Wisdom merchant and butcher, held on grand larceny and receiving stolen property charges, was returned to Dillon by Sheriff C. K. Wyman. County Attorney Gilbert filed information, indicting him for receiving stolen property. Arraigned in District Court before Judge Joseph C. Smith, he pleaded not guilty. Bond set at $5,000. trial slated for November 11. Bonning had reportedly traveled in Canada with a man wanted elsewhere before police traced him to Milwaukee and returned him for trial.

High School Team Defeats Training School 14 to 0
The high school eleven defeated the training school upper grades team 14 to 0 on Wednesday. The high school scored in the first and second quarters with Budge Holmes and Williams crossing the goal line. The second half was tight with no scoring.
