Dr W H Stephan defended his Dillon Country Club fall championship title by defeating runner up H M Brundage in a shortened final match. Dr Curry posted the lowest net in the Turner cup classic to win the Harry Turner Loving Cup. Miss Glenna Vance captured the ladies cup with Stephan and Miss Berniece Metlen as runners up receiving Turner donated cups. An annual mixed dinner match is planned, with a prize for the best southpaw player and a future match proposed among local officials.

Officers Elected by Future Farmers Club in Beaverhead
At the first meeting of the year Emer Nelson was elected president of the Beaverhead chapter. Joe Roe was re-elected first vice president Gus Rody second vice president Marl Willey secretary Argyle Stephens treasurer Bernard Williams re-elected adviser. The year plans include the farmers party father and son banquet thrift savings accounts demonstrations and school dances. The club won 42 first prizes and 19 seconds at the county fair for livestock crops and produce totaling $292.50. Alvin Bay led with $48 and Emer Nelson $383 in prizes. ALASKAN FOXES HERE A pair of Alaskan silver foxes were received and moved to the farm for crossbreeding with the local silver black stock to produce a fur quality. Six pairs will be imported from a Somers farm. the two newest are unusually tame.

The Galt car was found abandoned on South Atlantic after being rifled but undamaged. the Hazelbaker sedan ran out of gas in a lane near Lima and was recovered Wednesday morning. Several residents report tampering with vehicles. police and sheriff's forces anticipate arrests.
