Andrew Gut aged 62 died Thursday afternoon at Barrett hospital after a lingering illness. A native of Poland he had worked on sheep ranches in the area for 33 years. A nephew, Charles E. Osuch, resides here. no other relatives found. Ray Willey of Wisdom, postmaster there, visited last week in the county seat.

Armstead Club Hosts Winter Night of Readings and Games
Armstead Home Demonstration club and about 60 neighbors met at the schoolhouse for a winter entertainment series. A community dinner was served by Mrs Loanna Robinson. Guests read verses about each other, a lively program followed with entertaining readings and card games to close the evening.
