Noted Dillon Singer Mrs Elmo Scott Ends Life in Seattle
Mrs Elmo Jacquette Scott longtime Dillon resident and voice instructor at State Normal College died by suicide in Seattle last Saturday. She left a note saying she was tired of life and not wanting to be a burden. Her husband died in an auto accident near Dillon eight years ago and she is survived by three children including Gladys Dorrit and George and another daughter Mrs Harry Wood.

Baby buffalo finds permanent home in Big Hole basin
A young buffalo exhibited in the city by the state game department was given a permanent home in Beaverhead county. The calf has been taken to Lieutenant Governor F A Hazelbaker’s ranch in the Big Hole basin where it will roam freely and grow fat on local grasses. The gift to Hazelbaker comes from the game department.

The Beaverhead County Federation of Women's clubs met last Saturday under the Shakespeare club in Dillon. About 35 members attended the sessions which included talks by Luella Stickney, W K Harvey, J Walter Scott, and Guy Emery on Montanans Inc and relief plans. Escaped Prisoners Caught After Beaverhead Jail Break
Deputy Sheriff W. E. Barry and D. W. Erwin returned to Dillon with William Clancy alias Steve Burns and Emil Borgeson alias Emil Hanson, two of three men who escaped the Beaverhead county jail on Sept. 19. They traced Borgeson to a camp near West Yellowstone, confronted him, and brought him back to Dillon after Clancy’s capture in Idaho.
