Eugene Bond chairs the one day Dillon Red Cross fund drive as many old members renew pledges and many new join. Fred Rife reports the drive went over well and thanks the high school faculty and girls for their efforts. Beaverhead county mourns as Mrs Ola C Burden dies Wednesday afternoon after a prolonged illness. A Dillon resident, she was born 45 years ago to C C Cornell and a Beaverhead pioneer family. Survived by husband C H Burden father C C Cornell sister Mrs George W Murray and brother Roscoe Cornell, funeral Friday at 2 pm at the Methodist church with Eastern Star rites and burial in Mountain View.

The Gargoyles present Mamma's Affair a three act comedy by Rachel Barton Butler winner of the Morosco prize in 1925. The plot centers on Mrs Orrin a hypochondriac whose actions unsettle Eve and others until Dr Jansen and the housekeeper Mrs Bundy help unravel the situation with comic relief from Tommy the bell-hop.
