Man Limbs Amputated After Loco Motive Incident
Peter Bush 35, from Keokuk Iowa, was brought to Dillon county hospital after attempting to climb on trucks from a locomotive. Doctors amputated both legs following the accident with little hope for recovery. An engineer cited that the man had been employed by Ben Hager at Lima. Continued on Page Six.

In Lima last Tuesday, a shooting at Sam Burnside's saloon left Tony Innes dead after a confrontation with Col W H Boule, the Lima constable. Boule was jailed as investigations and coroner's inquest began with Dillon officials arriving by train.
