Sheep Pelts Delivered for Inspection in Beaverhead County
Beaverhead ranchers whose flocks were condemned by government agents are delivering pelts to the First National Wood warehouse for shipment checks. County Agent Bernard Williams said on Wednesday that green hides and cured pelts may be brought in. Beaverhead's sheep allotment is nearly filled.

In a national baby contest at Chicago's World's Fair Montana entrants won prizes. Eugene Crane aged five Irene Crane aged two and a half children of Clarence and Mrs Crane Nor Mary Elizabeth Smith daughter of Luther and Mrs Smith Melrose is represented by Gerta Huber two and an half, child of Pelton and wife. There were 114000 entries and 15000 prizes awarded.

FERA Assisting Normal Students Plans and Meetings
President Sheldon E. Davis will travel to Helena to attend Montana Education Association executive council meetings. The Montana Society for Study of Education will hold its annual meeting during the Christmas holidays in Billings. The November faculty meeting will discuss commencement activities and FERA personnel issues at the Normal college. About forty four part time students earn roughly fifteen dollars monthly under federal and college rules.
