Dillon Home Robbed Again In Nighttime Break-in
A bold intruder broke into the KK D. Sandvig home about midnight last Thursday. Jewelry, a fountain pen, purse, letter, and Mr Sandvig’s trousers and shirt were stolen while the family slept. The burglar fled through an open front door. trousers and shirt later found in the front yard. Mrs Sandvig identified the suspect as stocky, hatless with bushy hair, wearing a light sweater. This marks the second robbery at the residence.
Barrett Home Looted Wednesday Afternoon
Burglars entered the Barrett residence on S Pacific Street while Mr and Mrs Barrett worked in the basement and made off with jewelry and other valuables. The theft was discovered soon after and sheriff and police searched the area, but no suspect description was obtained.

Miss Helen Finch Returns From Europe Study Tour

Well Known Dillon Man Dies Suddenly
John W. Taylor a longtime Dillon resident died suddenly in Missoula. Born January 14 1883 he lived in Dillon most of his life working as a clerk and later an oil well driller in Texas. Survived by his mother Mrs Emily Taylor a brother Tom Taylor of Butte and sister Mrs W S Tash of Polaris. Body to be brought to Dillon for burial with funeral plans pending.

Pioneer Montanan Sarah Lemon Dies in Salt Lake
Mrs. Sarah Lemon a Montana pioneer born 1830s arrived in Alder Gulch in 1863 later living at Glendale and Beaverhead valley ranching. She spent 30 years in Utah and is survived by four grandchildren ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Interment occurred in Murray Utah last Wednesday.

Hartwig Theatre Damaged by Fire in Dillon
A Sunday night blaze severely damaged the Hartwig theatre in Dillon with smoke filling the building after flames spread from the furnace area. Firefighters contained the fire with hoses. two batteries and nearby Luckness barber shop suffered damage while the projection room remained intact. Owner W B Hartwig awaits an insurance adjuster as 50 patrons evacuated orderly.

Scouts Pass New Dues and Registration Law
Troop 40 Boy Scouts met at the Guildhall last evening. Roll was called and two laws were passed. The first law sets dues at $2.00 for early year entrants and $1.00 for late entrants. The second law forbids registration until the fee is paid. The meeting adjourned.
