Washington May 20 The American Red Cross working with the Bureau of War Risk Insurance has traced 9 700 of 13 000 investigated cases as of May 1 through its allotment inquiries bureau. The Red Cross canvasses neighborhoods and uses Home Service sections to find missing beneficiaries to ensure checks reach entitled heirs. The effort aims to recover about 50 000 unclaimed checks and support the government program.

Laying New Water Mains on Montana Idaho Streets
The contract for laying new iron water mains on Montana and Idaho streets and intersections was let to G. H. Nash under Pete Orem of Butte. Orem began work Tuesday at the north end of Montana street using a trenching machine to speed digging. Work prepares for paving and water shutoffs are planned to last no more than one day at a time.

Rainbow division dischargeees rest in Dillon after service
Five members of the Rainbow division who recently received their discharge spent Tuesday afternoon in Dillon. They were in the Salmon river country and waited in Dillon instead of Armstead. They planned to take the G. and P. from that town Wednesday morning. The men were a husky lot and had seen some of the hardest service in France.
