Wednesday meeting marks the first under new president J. J. Monroe who succeeds Senator Frank Hazel baker. The retiring president reviewed two years of Rotary work and Monroe thanked the club for the honor and spoke on other matters. Bishop Fox of Billings and Judge I. G. Denny of Butte attended as guests and addressed members on moral standards and community service.

Mrs. Edith Banks Dies After Long Illness at Ranch Home
Mrs. Edith Banks wife of James S. Banks died at their ranch north of the city after a yearlong cancer illness. A 16 year resident, she was born in Whitewillow Illinois 58 years ago. Survived by her husband two daughters Mrs D H Lolman Oakley Idaho and Mrs J J Stickle Wendell Idaho her father two brothers and a sister all of Kansas. Funeral Monday with interment here.

City and county health authorities urge vaccination for all grade school pupils following a smallpox case at the training school. Parents unable to pay the 1.00 fee can have children treated free at the Dillon Clinic under the health officer. Clinic hours are 10 to 12 a. m. and 2 to 5 p. m.

Miss Ethel Swan aged 15 died of tuberculosis at Barrett hospital Sunday morning after being brought from Dell last week. Funeral held at St Rose Catholic church Wednesday at 10 with interment in Mountain View cemetery. She is survived by her mother sister brother and stepfather. the family lived on a ranch near Dell for years. Two burglars believed to be tourists broke into Eliel Bros. dry goods in Dillon last Friday night. They looted over $200 worth of men clothing including collars and handkerchiefs, packed into suitcases, under a lamp-lit entrance. Sheriff investigated but found no clues, speculating the pair fled by car toward Butte.
