Golf Addicts Plan May 20 Mixed Foursome Tournament
Dillon Country Club will host a two ball mixed foursome on Sunday May 20 with entries open to all members auxiliary members and prospective entrants. Bruce Risley W B Hartwig and Lee McCracken head the sports committee. Drawings for foursomes will be held next week as the club gauges member sentiment before a definite start time. George Linson returned from Clarence Missouri after the winter.

Mrs. Maria Barrett Dies After Long Illness in Dillon
Mrs. Maria Poirier Barrett, wife of Thomas F. Barrett, died after a lingering illness at her South Washington street home. A Beaverhead County resident for over 40 years, she was born in France 77 years ago and married in 1888. Her husband, a cattleman, had moved to Dillon after retiring from ranching around 1918.

Mrs Barrett of South Washington street is survived by her husband two children a daughter Miss Constance a step daughter Miss Nancy E and two step sons Chester A and Elmer A plus brothers Laurence Poirier of Watchena Kansas and Smile L Poirier of St Joseph Mo The funeral was held Wednesday at St Rose church with requiem high mass and interment in Mountain View cemetery Friends from across the county attended the service and floral tributes were plentiful.
