Mohler 41 a Beaverhead County resident and World War I veteran died of a self inflicted gunshot wound at the Spur ranch north of the city where he worked He was found by ranch manager Frank Tourtellet and died a few hours later at Barrett hospital Coroner J E Phillips ruled the death a personal safety related bullet wound Despondency believed to be the cause Body shipped to Bedford Iowa for interment.

Shots at Bannack to Prevent Tick Fever
One hundred eleven persons from Bannack and the Grasshopper were inoculated for Rocky Mountain spotted fever Monday by Beaverhead county health officer Dr. F M Poindexter with nurse Miss Luelli Stickney assisting. This is the largest single group treated in the county to date. A second inoculation will likely occur next Sunday. Miss Stickney plans a program of inoculations for Big Hole basin residents soon.

Fire Damages Rural Railroad Bridge South of Town
Firefighters battled a blaze under a railroad bridge over Pigtail creek near the wool warehouse, likely set by trespassers. Two stock cars also burned but were saved. a tramp with burned clothing emerged from under the bridge claiming no knowledge of the fire. Nell Dingley wife of Roy Dingley longtime ranchman in the district died at home Monday afternoon. A heart attack triggered by seeing a roadway team pass the house is believed to have killed her as she sat writing a letter. Born in England 65 years ago she came to Canada as a young woman and has lived here five years. Survived by her husband and a daughter in Corbett Washington.
