Miss Olga Carlson of Ogden Utah opened the annual Girl Scout course at Normal College in Dillon this week. The first meeting drew a large class with many town women joining as special students. The program for May 2 featured an operetta Peter Rabbit performed by the primary training school.

Experienced woodsmen sought for CCC projects in Montana counties
Supervisor A A Simpson announced that twenty experienced woodsmen would be rejected on Monday May 7 from Beaverhead and Madison counties to enroll for CCC work. The contingent will entrain the next day for Butte. Those who have already served CCC time cannot re enroll and only qualified woodsmen will be accepted. Daniel S Curtis, an prospect for the Birch Creek section, was brought to the city last Thursday by Undersheriff W E Barry for medical care.

O'Connor Youth Fatally Struck in Lakeview Area
