Montana Seeks State Building at Panama Exposition

The Montana Executive Exposition Commission reports from San Francisco on March 16 1914 urging Montana to erect a state building at the Panama Exposition of 1915. They promote the site fronting San Francisco Bay between Hawaii and Idaho with a suggested budget of $15 000 plus exhibit funds. They argue Montana must compete with other states and Canada to attract homeseekers and visitors, stressing state resources and hospitality.
