Golfers Enthused Over Plans for New Course
The Dillon Golf club held its second meeting of the year to outline plans for a proposed new course. Senator F A Hazelbaker discussed leasing or purchasing the E J Conger ranch with heirs to set a price, while Lawrence Price presented cost estimates. A five member committee will design a fundraising plan without raising annual dues, currently $10. The old course remains popular despite poor greens, with strong enthusiasm and solid scores. Galesville curling club, all over 70, competes with nearby towns.
