Mountain Love and Mountain Storm in Raccoon Hollow
Ezekiel Sykes returns home wounded and hungry to Aunt Betsey and Dorinda in a Depression era style mountain tale. Dorinda tends him as a budding romance grows while Sal Boler and a city drummer stir trouble and the landscape itself seems split by a mountain catastrophe. Dorinda and Ezekiel endure storms and hardship, the mica vein is found, and a wary betrothed future unfolds as love and faith contend with misfortune.
