Commencement Honors and Graduates of the Class of 1893
The Dillon High School commencement filled the opera house with pride as awards and prizes were presented. Valedictory by Miss Madie Rife, class history by Angelo Fyhrie, and speeches by students impressed judges Frank Showers, Robert B. Smith, and Forbes. Diplomas went to Craig Snyder and Emma Stelzer amid praise from officials.

Apollo Lodge Elects Officers and Depot Robbery Alert
Apollo Lodge No 15 I C C F elected officers led by N G George Ayer and W G Henry Genther on Monday night. Tuesday a theft occurred at the depot office with $2 90 taken from the money drawer during operator absence. The High School class of 1894 hosted a reception for the graduating class and class of 1892 at J M D Morton’s home with twenty guests, supper, games, and lively discussion.

Reverend Brooks to Lead Local Baptist Church Temporarily
