Ballot gains for Clark and senate measures debated

The joint ballot shows Clark leading with 386 votes, Conrad 383, and minor figures. In the senate committee of the whole several measures were discussed including Whiteside’s bribe money appropriation bill and a similar House measure. The Geiger Whiteside contest is under re canvass and multiple bills were introduced on suffrage taxes loan associations organization and sheep herders rights.
