Obituary of Herbert B. Selway Pioneer Rancher Dies in Beaverhead
Herbert B. Selway died of pneumonia after influenza at his Armstead ranch. He was born in August 1876 and long active in Beaverhead County ranching and community work. Survived by wife Mary Monahan, son Elmer, brother Hawley J. Selway, and sister Mrs. Charles J. Carlson. Funeral held at Brundage chapel with interment in Mountain View Cemetery.

The 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henneberry died Monday from spinal meningitis. Lee is remembered as a bright, friendly pupil at Dillon Public School. Funeral was held at 10:00 AM with Rev. Foley officiating and interment at the local cemetery.

Raymond H. Butler, 43, formerly of Dillon and Miles City, Montana, died in Clara Barton hospital Los Angeles from septic pneumonia caused by an ulcerated tooth. He worked at a cyanide plant in Searchlight, Nevada, and is survived by his wife Myrtle L. Butler and daughter Thelma, 12. Burial was in Inglewood Cemetery, Los Angeles.
