In Argenta a cave rescue tests endurance as the narrator guides Jim toward recovery, memory loss, and a hopeful future as a partner and guardian in the mountains with a Grasshopper girl awaiting their marriage. The tale closes noting 1809 birth years of Darwin, Cladstone, Tennyson, and Lincoln.
Department of the Interior notice from Great Falls Montana dated January 4 1927 states Albert C Morrow of Dillon Montana who filed a homestead entry on July 28 1926 Serial No 053661 for lands in sections 5 4 8 township 7 south range 5 west Montana meridian has filed a notice of intention to make final proof under the act.
An old advertisement promises a trial bottle of Foley Honey and Tar Compound for coughs and colds plus trial packets of Foley Pills and Foley Cathartic Tablets. It urges sending 10 cents to Potts, the druggist, with name and address for trial items.
Notice states registration books close February 17 1927 at 5 p m for Dillon Montana electors ahead of the April 4 1927 city election. Electors must appear before County Clerk at the Courthouse in Dillon to register. John S Baker County Clerk and Ex Officio Registrar. Adv 2-6
Frank E L Marchesseau of Polaris Montana files for final proof under the 1916 act to establish land claim described in Warren Township area. Hearing set before F A Waterbaker US commissioner in Dillon Montana February 25 1927 witnesses listed Dewey Marchesseau Alex Silady William A Pabnish and Andy B Pyle all of Polaris Montana.
Grover L. Harris of Dillon Montana filed notice of intention to make final year proof under the 1916 act to establish his homestead entries in township 7 south range 6 west Montana. The hearing will be before V F Waterbaker at Dillon February 25 1927 with witnesses George G. Cleveland James F E Braddock Ray Townsend and James Bray all of Billon Montana.
In Beaverhead County Montana the district court hears Annie Nelson petition seeking a sale of Dennis Brennen estate real estate. The court requires all interested parties to appear January 31 1927 at 19 00 to show cause why the administratrix should not be empowered to sell sufficient real property and a copy of the order will be published for four consecutive weeks in the Dillon Tribune.
Executor John Collins of Dillon Montana informs all creditors and claimants to present claims with vouchers within four months of the first publication. Claims must be filed at the law offices of John Collins in Dillon Beaverhead County Montana. First publication December 31 1926.
