Farm Relief Likely To Come In 1928
Washington dispatch outlines expectations for 1928 farm relief. Economists describe 1927 as a balanced, improving year, yet warn tax and pricing structures persist as farming’s core problem. Debates center on McNary Haugen measures and a proposed Farm Board to stabilize prices and production. Congress is expected to act on agricultural relief.
