County commissioners convened at the courthouse for January business and adjourned after a busy session. They transferred 6000 from the bridge fund to the road fund and extended Coroner James E. Charles Coll Dies of Pneumonia at Barrett Hospital
Charles Coll, 70, died Thursday night at Barrett hospital after being taken there the day before in grave condition from pneumonia. A longtime resident and ranch worker in the area, he spent winters in the city and was known as a parrier of Robert Lawson. An Irish native, he was buried Monday in Holy Cross cemetery after a requiem high mass at St Patrick's church.
